We were traveling with two teenagers, one adult and a large dog. The condo was incredibly comfortable and home like. Beds, really comfortable, each bedroom has a bathroom which is a plus! Location is right next to Col. Rowe walking trail which is beautifully maintained. Nice big kitchen!

I really enjoyed my stay. I felt quite at home. I was there for three weeks. There’s a park close by that’s great for runners or people with kids in the morning you’ll see parents. It’s absolutely beautiful. I wish I had more time to go to the beach and enjoy some of the local places.

I can’t say enough good things about the property as well as the hosts. Our family of 8 spent 2 nights at this lovely home and celebrated my son‘s birthday. Everything was as described. The theater was such a huge hit for the kids and the pool kept them entertained for hours. The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of items needed to prepare meals, including thoughtful welcome snacks. There was plenty of seating throughout the house and we definitely felt we all had plenty of space to enjoy the house. Our family will remember this getaway for many years to come and we are so thankful that the host always made us feel welcome and responded to questions within minutes.

Very quiet. Perfect for a couple. Convenience store just a block away, major grocery store within 10 minutes. Easy access to many restaurants. We did not cook, but there was certainly everything available should you want to. All spices, several types of cooking oil, plenty of pots , pans and utensils. Full size fridge/ freezer. A nice little table outside the door to enjoy a beer or glass of wine. A great spot for birdwatching. We saw a variety of birds, including parrots when we sat outside in the late afternoon. We were there for dental work in Mexico and when we return for more we will certainly stay there again. After we returned home we received a message from Nancy saying she had found my wife’s bracelet that had been left behind and she is mailing it back to us, no extra charge. Although the Rio Grande Valley has a population of one million, it’s composed of many small towns strung together. Weslaco has that wonderful small town feel to it. We loved Nancy’s neighborhood.
